Disney to ditch Slack after July data breach

The Walt Disney Company is phasing out Slack for internal company communication following a data hack that leaked over a terabyte of company data. Disney is transitioning to new collaboration tools, notifying employees of the change. The hack, which included financial info and unreleased projects, is not expected to impact operations. Salesforce, owner of Slack, assured the security of their products. CEO Marc Benioff stated that Disney still uses Salesforce products in other areas of its business.
