Liberty Gold Corp has received a Hardrock Prospector Permit, increasing the exploration area for the Black Pine Oxide Gold Project in Vancouver to 40.6 km2. The areas are administered by the US government under the Weeks Act, adding 7.1 km2 of exploration ground and allowing exclusive right to prospect and explore for mineral deposits. The newly permitted areas are not eligible for unpatented mineral claims, allowing for licencing under the Mineral Leasing Act for Acquired Lands. Furthermore, Liberty Gold has announced plans for initial drilling in Q4 2024 to uncover extensions to the mineralized system and discover additional gold oxide resources in the project area. Pete Shabestari, VP of Exploration, noted the cooperation with USFS and BLM for permitting approvals. Liberty Gold is focused on exploring and developing open pit oxide deposits in the Great Basin region of the US, known for being a prolific gold-producing area that stretches across Nevada, Idaho, and Utah. Forward-looking information includes potential mineral discoveries, exploration drilling plans, and future gold deposits. Liberty Gold acknowledges that there are risks involved in the mining industry, but remains optimistic about the potential for successful exploration and development.
