Meta Platforms introduces new features in Meta AI, including voice options, photo sharing, translation tool.

Meta Platforms (META) has introduced a new voice feature in Meta AI across Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram DM. Users can select AI voices like Awkwafina and John Cena. Additionally, users can share photos in chats with Meta AI and ask the assistant to edit images as well.

Meta is working on a translation tool for Meta AI to assist content creators by automatically translating videos and syncing lips to match the audio. The company is currently testing the tool on Instagram and Facebook, with plans to expand to more creators and languages soon.

In addition, Meta’s business AIs can now handle customer queries, discuss products, and facilitate purchases, aiming to improve customer experience and increase sales for businesses. As a result, Meta is positioning itself as the world’s most-used AI assistant by the end of the year.
