New Zealand’s Auckland International Airport plans to raise NZ$1.4 billion for capital investments. The equity raise includes a NZ$1.2 billion placement and a NZ$200 million retail offer at NZ$6.95 per share. Proceeds will fund the domestic jet terminal project and a NZ$6.6 billion aeronautical capital investment program until 2032.

The airport operator signed an NZ$800 million contract with Downer EDI’s unit to build a new domestic jet terminal, creating 2,500 jobs. Shares were halted for trading and will resume post placement completion. ($1 = 1.6244 NZD)
