The NFL is expanding its fanbase through streaming, signing exclusive deals with media companies. A $111 billion media rights deal in 2021 included streaming for Thursday Night Football on Amazon. “Sunday Ticket” went to Google’s YouTube TV and Netflix will air games on Christmas. A Wild Card game on Peacock was the most-streamed event in history. The NFL is aiming to grow its global audience and move towards streaming. Netflix will stream NFL games for the next three years.
