Taiwan stocks rose with Taiex up 1.68%, some individual stocks hit all-time highs.

Taiwan stocks closed higher, with the Taiex rising by 1.68%. Arima Communications Corp surged by 350.24%, while Headway Advanced Materials Inc and Sunko Ink Co Ltd also saw gains. On the downside, Huang Hsiang Construction Corp and Farglory Land Development Co Ltd fell by 10%. Crude oil prices rose to $71.56 a barrel.

Arima Communications Corp hit a 3-year high, rising by 350.24%. Headway Advanced Materials Inc reached a 52-week high, climbing by 10%. Sunko Ink Co Ltd also hit a 52-week high with a 9.98% increase. USD/TWD rose by 0.17% to 32.04, while TWD/CNY remained unchanged at 0.22.
