US prediction market Kalshi wins against CFTC to offer election betting

US citizens now have the option to bet on the upcoming election through derivatives on Kalshi. A judge overturned the CFTC’s decision, allowing this new form of prediction market. The CFTC can still appeal the ruling, giving them a chance to overturn the decision again.
