Yili Group has reported a total revenue of 59.915 billion yuan for the first half of 2024, achieving a record 19.44% year-on-year growth in net profit attributable to the parent company at 7.531 billion yuan. The company has maintained its position as a top five global dairy company for the 11th consecutive year.

In the first half of 2024, Yili’s liquid milk business generated revenue of 36.887 billion yuan, leading in market share and volume. Revenue from powdered milk and related activities increased by 7.31% to 14.509 billion yuan, while ice cream sales reached 7.322 billion yuan, leading the market segment for 29 consecutive years.

Yili continues to focus on innovation, with new flagship products accounting for 15.2% of total revenue. The company’s water-based beverage business doubled its revenue, contributing to overall growth. Yili’s international revenue grew by 4% annually in the first half of 2024, with products exported to over 60 countries.

Several Yili flagship products received FDA approval and were launched in the US, including AMBPOMIAL yogurt, Youngfun dairy beverage, and Chocliz ice cream. Yili opened its first flagship store in Los Angeles while maintaining market dominance in Thailand and Indonesia with brands like Cremo and Joyday.

Yili’s sustainable growth focus includes promoting ESG values and integrating UN Sustainable Development Goals. The company’s external donations in 2023 totaled 280 million yuan, with operations creating a positive impact of 6.805 billion yuan.
