Amazon launched four new Kindles, including the Kindle Colorsoft with a color display. The Colorsoft costs $279.99 and is available for preorder now, shipping on October 30th. The company also unveiled a $399 Kindle Scribe with new note-taking features, an updated $159 Kindle Paperwhite, and a 12th generation Kindle priced at $109.
The new Kindle Colorsoft brings color to the Kindle line-up without compromising on features like high contrast, fast page turns, and auto-adjusting front light. With vibrant yet easy-on-the-eyes color display, users can browse covers, see book photos, and add color highlights. Amazon finally listened to Kindle users’ requests for a color e-reader.
The Kindle Scribe introduces an in-book writing experience with Active Canvas, allowing users to write thoughts directly in the book. It also offers AI-powered note-taking features for quick summaries and easy sharing. Amazon has enhanced the Kindle line-up to cater to a variety of reading preferences and note-taking needs.
