Australia stocks closed higher on Monday, with the ASX 200 rising by 0.47%. Top performers were Appen Ltd, Regis Resources Ltd, and South32 Ltd, while Webjet Ltd, Cromwell Property Group, and TPG Telecom Ltd were among the worst performers. Rising stocks edged out declining ones on the exchange.

Appen Ltd hit a 52-week high, Webjet Ltd fell to a 3-year low, and Regis Resources Ltd reached a 52-week high. The volatility index rose by 0.58%. Gold futures slightly increased, while crude oil prices decreased. The AUD/USD remained stable, while the US Dollar Index Futures advanced.
