Brixton Metals Corporation announces positive 2024 drill results from the Trapper Gold Target at its Thorn Project in British Columbia. Hole THN24-308 yielded 61.95m of 1.02 g/t Au, including 9.25m of 4.79 g/t Au. Hole THN24-309 yielded 28.00m of 0.70 g/t Au. Results show gold associated with base metal veins.
The 2024 drill campaign at the Trapper Gold Target totaled 2,745.60m across 11 drill holes. The program aimed to test mineralization continuity along the Lawless Fault zone at the Thorn Project. Gold occurs along the Lawless Fault, with multiple CVG features indicating potential for new gold zones. Additional assays from the campaign are forthcoming.
Drilling at the Thorn Project targeted the Trapper Gold area, yielding promising results. Visible gold has been identified in drill core and surface outcrops. The Trapper Target hosts an intermediate-sulphidation epithermal system. Brixton Metals plans to focus on identifying new gold zones within the larger gold geochemical anomaly at the site.
Core samples from the drill campaign were analyzed at ALS Minerals Laboratories for gold and other metals. Blank, duplicate, and certified reference materials were included in the sampling process. The Thorn Project, located in British Columbia, is a district-scale project with significant copper-gold targets. Brixton Metals is dedicated to advancing its mining projects with a focus on exploration and development.
