A long-dormant whale reemerges as Bitcoin briefly hits $69,000. A Bitcoin wallet inactive for over 10 years with 25 BTC worth $1.71 million is now active. The whale’s holdings, untouched since 2013, surged in value as Bitcoin climbed from below $1,000 to its current peak. BTC reached $69,000, trading at $68,392.

Bitcoin soars towards $70,000, rising for the fourth time in five days with strong market demand. Reaching $69,000 on Coinbase, BTC last traded for $70,000 in June. Currently at $68,399, investors added over $1.8 billion to U.S. ETFs holding Bitcoin this week, approved earlier this year.

BTC hit an all-time high of $73,797 in March, fueled by ETF expectations and supply constraints. After a 30% drop in August, Bitcoin is on a bull market run, reaching $69,000 amid growing investor interest and demand. Bloomberg reports significant investments in BTC ETFs in the U.S. throughout the week.
