U.S. spot ETFs are on track to hold over one million BTC by next Wednesday, potentially surpassing Satoshi Nakamoto’s alleged 1.1 million BTC holding by mid-December. ETF issuers are adding around 17,000 BTC per week, with BlackRock and Grayscale leading the pack.
Satoshi Nakamoto remains the top holder with 1.1 million BTC, followed by Binance with 667,526 BTC. BlackRock is in the running with 408,237 BTC. MicroStrategy and the U.S. government could also pose competition in the future, but ETFs are closest to reaching the milestone due to growing interest and positive market conditions.
