K92 Mining Inc. announces significant drilling results at Arakompa in Papua New Guinea, with a potential thick high-grade zone discovered. The bulk tonnage strike length extended by 250 meters to over 750 meters, with multiple high-grade intersections reported. Mineralization is open along strike and at depth, with plans for a maiden mineral resource estimate by Q1 2025.
The Arakompa project is an intrusive related gold-copper-silver epithermal vein system with similarities to the Kora and Judd vein systems. Mineralization is hosted in tonalite to dioritic rock, with widespread mineralization across a broad envelope. Multiple stages of mineralizing events have been identified, with similarities to the Kora and Judd systems, highlighting the potential for bulk mining.
