In 2024, Binance saw significant price increases for memecoins listed on its platform. Memecoins like MOODENG, WIF, and POPCAT appreciated over 200%, while NEIRO pumped by almost 7,600% after going live on the exchange. However, some tokens like MOG, MYRO, and BOME experienced slight depreciation after listing.

60% of memecoins listed on Binance in 2024 are based on the Solana blockchain, with 26.7% on Ethereum. Only five are available in spot and futures trading. Binance does not seem to have a market value requirement for memecoin listings, focusing on popularity and community instead.

After Donald Trump’s victory in the US election, Trump-themed memecoins dropped in value. The MAGA token tanked by 53%, while the MAGA Hat memecoin dropped by 55%. Other Trump memecoins experienced decreases of 50% to 75% in value.
