Booking Holdings, the parent company of Booking.com and Kayak, plans to cut jobs to drive real estate savings. The number of jobs affected was not disclosed, but as of the end of 2023, Booking employed about 23,600 people. The move comes after a 13.6% increase in operating expenses for the third quarter. Booking Holdings aims to improve operating expense efficiency, increase organizational agility, and reinvest resources to enhance offerings for travelers and partners.
