Brazilian antitrust regulator Cade ordered Apple to lift restrictions on payment methods for in-app purchases following a complaint by MercadoLibre. The complaint accused Apple of imposing restrictions on distribution of digital goods and in-app purchases, including banning third-party goods and services. Apple must now allow app developers to offer external payment options and face fines if they fail to comply.
