CMC Metals Ltd. announces a new Mineral Resource Estimate for its Silver Hart Project in Yukon, Canada. The Inferred resource totals 8.820 Moz @ 145.2 g/t silver equivalent in 1,889,000 tonnes with a cut-off grade of 50 g/t AgEq. The estimate has been prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 standards.
The effective date of the mineral resource statement is December 31, 2023. The qualified person responsible for the Mineral Resource Estimate is Charley Murahwi, M.Sc., P.Geo., FAusIMM. The mineral resources have been estimated following CIM guidelines. The resource results are rounded estimates and do not confirm economic viability.
CMC Metals Ltd. plans to develop the Silver Hart resources for a small-scale open-pit operation, utilizing high-grade veins and mantos. The company aims to minimize project risks by evaluating ore sorting and potential partnerships with local First Nations. Discussions with First Nations and initial metallurgical testing are planned, subject to financing.
The new MRE indicates opportunities to expand known mineralized zones at Silver Hart. The project also does not include discussions on additional zones in the adjacent Blue Heaven Property, 80% owned by CMC. The Rancheria Silver District, where Silver Hart is located, straddles the Yukon and British Columbia border.
