Japan is set to lead the next technology revolution with AI. NVIDIA’s CEO highlighted the importance of AI infrastructure and the potential of agentic AI to boost productivity. SoftBank and NVIDIA are collaborating to build Japan’s largest AI supercomputer, aiming to drive sovereign AI initiatives and revolutionize telecom providers with combined AI and 5G networks. NVIDIA is also working on developing a national AI infrastructure network in Japan through partnerships with cloud leaders.
