The cryptocurrency industry spent over $119 million supporting pro-crypto U.S. congressional candidates to promote digital assets. Candidates like Bernie Moreno in Ohio received $40.2 million, defeating incumbent Sherrod Brown. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan received $10 million and won her race. The crypto industry also supported candidates in Arizona, Massachusetts, West Virginia, Indiana, California, Alabama, North Carolina, and Colorado.
