Indonesia stocks closed lower as losses in various sectors dragged shares down, with the Jakarta Composite losing 0.98% to hit a new 3-month low. Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT, Natura City Developments Tbk PT, and Perma Plasindo Tbk PT were among the top performers, while Satu Visi Putra PT Tbk, Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk PT, and Pt Topindo Solusi Komunika were the worst performers.

Dua Putra Utama Makmur PT hit 3-year highs, rising 34.62%, Natura City Developments Tbk PT reached 52-week highs, gaining 32.77%, while Alamtri Resources Indonesia Tbk PT hit 52-week lows, falling 23.55%. Crude oil for January delivery edged up to $68.77 a barrel, Brent oil for February delivery fell to $72.52 a barrel, and February Gold Futures rose to $2,681.59 a troy ounce.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange, with 426 declining, 184 advancing, and 227 remaining unchanged. USD/IDR was down to 15,850.00, while AUD/IDR rose to 10,324.47. The US Dollar Index Futures dropped to 105.89.
