Japan stocks closed higher on Monday, with gains in technology and industrial sectors. The Nikkei 225 index rose by 0.18%. Top performers included DeNA Co Ltd, Furukawa Electric Co., and Fujikura Ltd. On the other hand, Isuzu Motors, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, and Secom Co. were among the worst performers. The Nikkei 225 options implied volatility index dropped by 5.38%. Crude oil prices were mixed, with Brent oil rising and gold falling. The USD strengthened against the JPY.
