JetBlue Airways will extend a halt to all flights to and from Haiti through Dec. 2 after damage from a bullet was found on a plane returning from Port-au-Prince. A Spirit Airlines flight was also struck by gunfire, causing it to divert to the Dominican Republic. American Airlines joined in canceling flights.

JetBlue’s Flight 935 arrived in New York without issues, but a post-flight inspection revealed damage from a bullet on the aircraft’s exterior. The halt on flights to and from Haiti will continue, with Spirit Airlines also affected by the recent incidents. American Airlines has joined in canceling flights as well.
