Kohl’s announces incoming CEO Ashley Buchanan, replacing current CEO Tom Kingsbury effective Jan. 15. Buchanan, former Michaels CEO and Walmart/Sam’s Club executive, will take over amid declining sales and market challenges. Kingsbury will stay in advisory role until May, with no plans for replacement. Kohl’s shares fell 3% following the news.
