Norway stocks closed lower, with the Oslo Bors falling 0.13%. Top gainers included Hoegh Autoliners ASA, Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, and Hafnia Ltd, while Nel ASA, Equinor ASA, and Tomra Systems ASA were among the worst performers. Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones, with shares in Nel ASA hitting 5-year lows.

In commodities trading, crude oil and Brent oil prices rose, while the February Gold Futures contract fell. The EUR/NOK pair was down 0.21% and the USD/NOK pair rose 0.26%. The US Dollar Index Futures were up 0.10% at 106.15.
