NOVONIX and Stellantis Sign Binding Offtake Agreement

NOVONIX Limited has signed an offtake agreement with Stellantis NV to supply up to 115,000 tonnes of synthetic graphite material to Stellantis’ cell manufacturing partners in North America from 2026-2031. This agreement solidifies NOVONIX’s position as a leader in onshoring the supply chain of synthetic graphite and accelerating clean energy adoption. The material will be produced at NOVONIX’s Riverside facility, with plans to expand production to meet customer demands. Stellantis plans to invest more than €50 billion in electrification, with NOVONIX supporting their growth efforts in North America and beyond.

The offtake commitment is for a minimum of 86,250 tonnes up to 115,000 tonnes over a six-year term, with pricing based on a market-based formula. Commercial supply is targeted to start on January 1, 2026, subject to NOVONIX meeting specified milestones. Stellantis aims to secure 400 GWh of battery capacity, including support from battery manufacturing plants in North America and Europe. NOVONIX is optimistic about its long-term relationship with Stellantis to support their growth initiatives.
