Nu Holdings (NYSE:NU) exceeded revenue expectations in the third quarter, reporting adjusted earnings per share of $0.11 and a 56% year-over-year revenue surge to $2.94 billion. However, shares dropped by 5% in pre-market trading today.
During the quarter, Nu saw its global customer base grow by 5.2 million to 109.7 million, a 23% increase from the previous year. The Monthly Average Revenue per Active Customer (ARPAC) also rose by 25% to $11.0, showcasing strong engagement on the platform.
Net income for Nu Holdings skyrocketed to $553.4 million in the third quarter, more than doubling from the same period last year. The company achieved an impressive annualized return on equity (ROE) of 30%, demonstrating strong financial performance.
