NVIDIA partners with Google Quantum AI to use CUDA-Q platform for simulations of quantum computing devices. Google aims to overcome limitations of quantum hardware, such as noise, using NVIDIA Eos supercomputer. The simulations can model interactions of qubits with environment, leading to faster and more cost-effective designs.CUDA-Q platform enables Google to conduct one of the largest and fastest dynamical simulations of quantum devices with 1,024 NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs. This collaboration showcases the importance of GPU-accelerated simulations in advancing quantum computing. The software for accelerated dynamic simulations will be available on the CUDA-Q platform for quantum hardware engineers to scale their designs rapidly.
