The Taiwan stock market ended lower on Tuesday, snapping a two-day winning streak. The market closed just below the 22,680-point mark, with losses in technology and plastics sectors. Despite this, global markets are optimistic about interest rates, with European markets down and U.S. markets up. On Wall Street, all major indexes closed in the green, with the Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 hitting record highs. The positive trend was driven by the Federal Reserve’s plan to gradually lower interest rates. Oil prices fell slightly on news of a potential cease-fire agreement between Israel and Hezbollah.
