Taiwan stocks closed higher on Monday with the Taiex rising 0.62% to reach a new 3-month high. Arima Communications Corp was the top performer, climbing 350.24%, while ALi Corp was the worst performer, dropping 39.85%. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Arima Communications Corp shares hit 3-year highs. Crude oil prices fell slightly, while the US Dollar Index Futures rose 0.08%.
