Young Taylor Swift fans and parents lined up outside Target stores nationwide on Black Friday to purchase copies of her new Eras Tour book and vinyl album. Target teamed up with Swift to boost sales, with fans waiting in freezing temperatures as early as 5 a.m. to snag merchandise.

Parents and fans in their late 20s purchased Swift’s Eras Tour book for $39.99 at Target, along with a vinyl and CD version of “The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology” for $59.99 and $17.99 respectively. Customers lined up outside stores across the country to get their hands on Swift’s latest releases.

Swift’s Eras Tour has been a huge success, with the last leg currently happening in Canada. The tour has been boosting local economies and setting music industry milestones, leading to what economists are calling “Swiftflation.” Target saw a boost in sales during the first quarter when Swift released her Tortured Poets album.

To cater to the shorter holiday season, Target will offer Eras Tour items on its app and website beginning Saturday. Customers are eager to get their hands on Swift’s merchandise before it sells out, with some Target stores already experiencing empty shelves for the Eras Tour book and vinyl by 9:30 a.m. on Black Friday.
