The Republicans are projected to maintain control of the US House, securing total government control with a Senate majority and Trump’s election win. Decision Desk HQ called the race at 12:13 am UTC on Nov. 12, predicting GOP would win 218 seats. There are 8 seats remaining. The new Congress won’t take over until January 2025.

Two Republican-backed crypto bills are stuck in Congress but may progress next year if not addressed in lame-duck session. The Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act and Clarity for Payment Stablecoins Act have stalled. The upcoming Congress is considered to be the most pro-crypto ever, with most pro-crypto PAC-backed Congressional candidates winning.
