Futures on the Dow surged over 800 points, S&P 500 futures rose 1.7%, Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 1.6%, and Russell 2000 futures rallied over 5% as Trump neared victory. The US dollar index hit its highest level since July. Trump’s win boosted US markets, with the 10-year Treasury yield jumping to 4.43%.

Trump claimed victory as the 47th president, thanking supporters. Cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, surged. European stocks rose 1%, but renewable energy stocks fell sharply. Novo Nordisk, with exposure to the US market, jumped 8%. In Asia, Nikkei 225 climbed 2% while Hang Seng slipped 2.5%. Tokyo soared while Hong Kong fell.
