Morningstar released their updated list of Best Companies to Own for 2025. They look for companies with competitive advantages, reliable cash flows, and adept management teams. New additions include Danaher, a scientific instrument manufacturer with a wide economic moat, Paychex, a payroll and HR solutions provider, and Equifax, a credit bureau with a strong operating leverage. Danaher stock is valued at $285, Paychex at $130, and Equifax at $285. Management acquisitions strengthen Equifax’s moat and diversify its revenue. Morningstar analysts provided the research for this segment.
