Eve Holding Inc’s shares rose 5% after securing $32.9 million in financing from BNDES for its eVTOL vehicles. The funding will go towards new prototypes and production. This comes after a previous investment of 490 million reais for R&D and a $50 million boost from Citibank.
Vertical Aerospace Ltd. also received up to $50 million in funding from Mudrick Capital Management for testing and certifying its flying taxi model. Competitors Archer Aviation and Joby Aviation saw stock price declines on Monday.
