Amazon partnering with Intuit Quickbooks for third-party sellers
From CNBC: 2024-12-09 16:48:55
Amazon is partnering with Intuit to bring QuickBooks to sellers in mid-2025, providing real-time financial insights and access to loans through QuickBooks Capital. The integration comes as sellers gear up for the holiday season, with third-party demand still strong, contributing to Amazon’s 24% seller services revenue growth in Q3.
Intuit’s shares dropped after reports of a potential free tax-filing app from Trump’s government team, and a revenue forecast that disappointed analysts. QuickBooks, a key driver for Intuit’s growth, saw 21% growth in the latest quarter, with plans to add AI tools for more automated insights in small business services like Mailchimp.
Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi highlighted the company’s goal of creating a seamless, AI-driven platform across all services, aiming to help sellers boost revenue and profitability. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy emphasized the importance of equipping selling partners with financial tools to scale efficiently and grow with confidence.
