Australia stocks closed higher on Friday, with the ASX 200 rising by 0.50%. Top performers included Appen Ltd, Mesoblast Ltd, and St Barbara Ltd, while Tabcorp Holdings Ltd and Nanosonics Ltd were among the worst performers. The Sydney Stock Exchange saw more rising stocks than declining ones, with the ASX 200 options implied volatility down 5.67%. Gold futures fell slightly to $2,650.01 a troy ounce, while crude oil prices also dipped. The AUD/USD remained steady at 0.62, as the US Dollar Index Futures rose to 107.94.
