Stocks were mostly higher today, with the Nasdaq bouncing thanks to Apple (AAPL), Nvidia (NVDA), and Amazon.com (AMZN) leading the tech sector. The S&P 500 rallied above breakeven, while the Dow finished in the red despite strong job openings data indicating a robust labor market.
Oil prices surged ahead of the OPEC+ meeting, with January-dated West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude settling at $69.94 per barrel, marking the biggest single-day gain in two weeks.
Gold prices cautiously rose, supported by a weaker dollar and positive jobs report, with December delivery settling at $2,665.80 an ounce.
