Caterpillar leads with 2.1% gain, while NVIDIA is down 2.4%

In early trading, Caterpillar leads as the best performing Dow component, up 2.1% with a year-to-date gain of 36.4%. On the other hand, NVIDIA is the worst performer, down 2.4% but showing a 180.7% gain year to date. Sherwin-Williams is down 1.1% and Chevron is up 1.2% for the day.
