Bangladesh aims to renegotiate power prices with Adani Group or cancel the deal based on court investigation into alleged irregularities. Adani charges 27-63% more than other Indian producers, prompting Bangladesh to seek lower prices to reduce subsidy costs. Bangladesh has enough domestic capacity to meet its needs and won’t be blackmailed by power producers.
