Fortuna Mining extends exploration program at Séguéla Mine, showcasing high-grade gold mineralization.

Fortuna Mining Corp. provides updates on its exploration program at the Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire. The Kingfisher deposit showed intersections of 15.3m averaging 4.1 g/t Au and 17m averaging 3.3 g/t Au. The Sunbird deposit also displayed successful mineralization with high grades of 20.4 g/t Au over 19.6m.

Drilling highlights at the Kingfisher deposit included several intersections of gold mineralization over various estimated true widths, with grades ranging from 3.3 g/t to 31.6 g/t Au. The Sunbird deposit also showed significant gold mineralization, with grades as high as 20.4 g/t Au over an estimated true width of 19.6 meters.

The Kingfisher deposit remains open at depth for most of the drilled 2-kilometer strike, with mineralization displaying a clear association with felsic intrusives, quartz veining, and basaltic units. Two drill rigs will continue working into the second quarter of 2025 for resource infill drilling.

At the Sunbird deposit, high-grade results were obtained from a further 24 holes, totaling 9,065 meters of a planned 12,000-meter drilling program. Mineralization remains open more than 600 meters below surface, indicating potential for underground mining. Drilling will continue into the first half of 2025 for an updated resource model.

All drilling data completed by Fortuna Mining Corp. followed strict QA-QC procedures, including the systematic insertion of blanks, duplicates, and sample standards. Drilling samples were transported to ALS laboratories for analysis using fire assay methods.
