U.K. stocks rose on Christmas Eve, with the FTSE 100 up 0.3% at 8,127. Energy stocks like BP and Shell climbed as oil prices increased. Vistry Group dropped over 17% after issuing its third profit warning of the year. AstraZeneca edged up following the withdrawal of a marketing application for advanced lung-cancer treatment Dato-DXd in the EU. Markets will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday for the Christmas holiday.
