Greece stocks rise by 0.59%, with various sectors contributing to positive performance.

Greece stocks closed higher on Friday, with gains in various sectors. The Athens Stock Exchange rose by 0.59%. Top performers included Ellaktor SA, up 9.64%, and HELLENiQ ENERGY Holdings SA, up 3.76%. However, Iktinos Hellas was among the worst performers, falling by 2.38%.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange, with 73 gaining, 45 declining, and 22 remaining unchanged. Gold Futures for February delivery dropped by 0.74%, while Crude oil for delivery in February rose by 1.05% to $70.35 a barrel. The US Dollar Index Futures was down by 0.12% at 107.76.

In commodities trading, the March Brent oil contract rose by 0.93% to trade at $73.53 a barrel. EUR/USD remained unchanged at 1.04, while EUR/GBP was also steady at 0.83. Overall, the market showed a mix of gains and losses, with various sectors contributing to the positive performance of Greece stocks.
