Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) reported fourth-quarter fiscal 2024 non-GAAP earnings of 58 cents per share, beating estimates by 5.5% and rising 11.5% year over year. Revenues increased 15.1% to $8.46 billion, driven by Server, Hybrid Cloud, and Financial services segments. HPE’s AI systems division grew 15.4% sequentially.
HPE initiated strong first-quarter 2025 earnings guidance after surpassing expectations in Q4, with shares up 27.5% year to date. The server segment saw a 32% sales increase, while the Intelligent Edge division experienced a 20% revenue decline but showed recovery. HPE’s Hybrid Cloud division reported an 18% sales increase.
HPE ended the fiscal third quarter with $14.84 billion in cash, generating $2.03 billion in operating cash flow in Q4. The company returned $219 million to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. HPE forecasts mid-teen revenue growth in Q1 2025, with estimated EPS between 47-52 cents.
