Japan stocks closed lower on Friday, with the Nikkei falling 0.80%. Best performers included Mitsubishi Motors Corp. and Omron Corp, while Japan Steel Works Ltd and Fujikura Ltd were among the worst performers. Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones. Crude oil prices slightly decreased, while gold futures rose. USD/JPY and EUR/JPY also fell, and the US Dollar Index Futures were up.
