KOSPI expected to face further losses, closed just above 2,400 points, global markets mixed

The South Korea stock market is expected to face further losses on Monday, following three consecutive sessions of decline. The KOSPI closed just above 2,400 points after dropping 1.02 percent on Friday. Global markets are mixed to lower, with European markets up and U.S. markets down. Oil prices rose on Friday due to a drop in U.S. crude inventories and ongoing conflicts. In the U.S., retail inventories increased by 0.6 percent in November. South Korea will release industrial production and retail sales data today, with industrial output expected to slip 0.4 percent month-on-month.
