Yukon Metals Corp. reports compelling results from gravimetric geophysical fieldwork at its Star River Project in Yukon. Dense areas suggest substantial mineralization, with prominent 800m-long anomalies correlated with high gold and silver samples. CEO Rory Quinn excited for upcoming drill program targeting these anomalies for exploration.
Two strong anomalies identified in the southern portion of the survey related to high conductivity zones from previous TDEM surveys. Multiple gravity anomalies in the northern section correlate with historical showings of polymetallic mineralization. Results indicate potential for significant mineralization zones and numerous unexplored targets on the property.
Gravity survey results from Star River Project show high-density zones linked to known mineralization and electromagnetic anomalies. This expands exploration potential with new targets for drilling campaigns. The survey also revealed underexplored anomalies, emphasizing the property’s strong exploration potential.
Aurora Geosciences conducted Gravity and TDEM surveys at Star River to define targets for drilling. The Gravity survey covered a large area of the property, focusing on the southern block with additional infill at key showing areas. Results will be used to identify high-quality targets for future drilling.
Yukon Metals owns the Star River Project, featuring multiple mineral showings and historic exploration works. The project is accessible by road and hosts polymetallic mineralization and quartz-sulphide veins. The company aims to further explore and develop the potential of the property for mining activities.
