Lufthansa Group increases firm orders for Airbus A350-1000 aircraft from ten to 15, with delivery scheduled between 2028 and 2030. The total value of the order is around two billion US dollars. This order, in addition to existing orders, makes Lufthansa Group one of the largest A350 customers globally. Carsten Spohr, CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa AG, highlights the confidence in their partnership with Airbus and the commitment to fleet modernization. Including this order, the Lufthansa Group has ordered a total of 770 aircraft from Airbus, solidifying its position as the largest customer of Airbus worldwide.
