Malaysia stock market declined for two sessions, hovering just below 1,600 points

The Malaysia stock market has declined for two consecutive sessions, with the Kuala Lumpur Composite Index hovering just below 1,600 points. Global markets are soft ahead of the FOMC’s interest rate decision. The KLCI finished Tuesday lower, with losses in industrials and mixed performances from financials, plantations, and telecoms. In the US, the Dow fell 0.61%, the NASDAQ dropped 0.32%, and the S&P 500 lost 0.39%. Oil prices fell on concerns about global demand. Malaysia will release November data for imports, exports, and trade balance, with imports expected to rise 3.8%, exports up 0.5%, and a trade surplus of MYR8.50 billion.
