Technology & Communications sectors lead with 0.7% increase, Energy follows with 0.5% increase.

In midday trading on Monday, Technology & Communications companies are leading the way with a 0.7% increase. Stocks like Broadcom Inc (AVGO) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) are up 5.8% and 4.6% respectively. The Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) is also up 0.8% and 24.11% year-to-date. Energy sector follows with a 0.5% increase, with APA Corp (APA) and EQT Corp (EQT) up 2.0% and 1.5%. APA is down 37.39% year-to-date, while EQT is up 14.48%. S&P 500 components show three sectors up and five down on Monday.
